The goal of Kreative Kitchens is to address and answer two major needs with one act of giving.
The needs are as follows:
- The lack of safe work experience for youth, youth in care, and/or anyone from within the vulnerable sector
- Healthy food options are unavailable or too expensive in low income neighbourhoods and are often sacrificed for quantity and convenience over quality and nutrients
We are starting with a monthly FREE community meal, where residents living in the Weston & Brooklands Area can attend the meal for free.
This creates the opportunity to experience the joy and purpose of giving while increasing food security.
Kreative Kitchens Weston is hoping to shift in a social enterprise direction with a catering and paid work experience component being explored.
* Dinner for 2 is a fundraising option to purchase a ticket for yourself and donate a ticket for a guest (or two) to join us.

Our First Community MealWe had 10 families from our community join us as well as 30 individual tix bought to help support the community meal.
Our staff for the night included 5 youth ages 18-21 who were trained in food prep skills and serving the public. |
