Food Security is a growing problem in the area of Weston and around Winnipeg, Manitoba.

St Thomas Church and its community outreach project Kreative would like to combat this issue.

This project started at the end of March 2020 when school officially closed in Manitoba. We initially projected a 3 week lifespan for the Take out meals Program but with more families signing up each week the need for the program has become even greater.

Each week our volunteers make over 300 meals, pack 70 grocery boxes and pack 40 art activity bags for our 115 families who receive dinner each week.

Sending the meals and supplies for the activities does come with a price tag, so if you would like to help us to continue for as long as possible donations can be sent by etransfer to [email protected]

If you are in need and would like to register for our Takeout Meal Program, please fill out the form below and someone will email the address you listed below to complete the registration.
